Modular Kitchen in Bangalore, Bengaluru-based Prasara Innotech Private Limited is in aggressive expansion mode
as it seeks to broad-base its market presence. Speaking exclusively to Sourcing Hardware on this aspect, company director V V Prasad Chatran (prasad@tuskerindia.in) shared, “We are looking at shaking hands with key business partners across India,” adding that, ‘talks are on’ with a number of interested parties. The company markets the Tusker brand of SS 304 kitchen modules for five work zones.
“It has taken months of meticulous planning and design to launch these innovative SS 304 cabinets. Our products are robust, aesthetic, corrosion free, pest and dust free and have the longest life amongst modular furniture,” Chatran informed while explaining the effort the company has taken to come up with the products. “ These are first-of-a-kind in India, perhaps in the world. Our products are designed keeping the modular furniture manufacturer in mind. Each cabinet has the ease of accepting any brand of hardware. In short, they are vendor and brand neutral.”
Sharing more on network expansion plans, Chatran said that as a brand Tusker has had a great beginning with several channel partners welcoming the product range. “At present, our products are available in Bengaluru, Mangalore, Nagpur, Delhi, Kochi, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam,” he said. On future plans, he informed, “We will soon have business channel partners in Pune, Mumbai, Nasik, Trivandrum, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, and other cities.” As a policy, the company will be very selective in appointing a channel partner. Besides considering the experience of the partner in the modular kitchen in Bangalore industry, the company would base its decision also on the financial capability to stock minimum quantity and ability to provide express service in the region of operation.
Modular Kitchen in Bangalore, Prasara has been promoting the Tusker via media and also by participating in trade exhibitions. Recently it showcased its product range at Acetech Delhi. “We always look for opportunities to showcase our brand and product range. To this end we are going to participate in IndiaWood to be held at Bengaluru’s BIEC from 08-12 March,” shared Chatran. The company, he added, would showcase the entire gamut of Tusker cabinets – base cabinets, corner cabinets, vanity cabinet, tall/semi-tall cabinets, etc. “IndiaWood has always been a platform to showcase the latest offering that a company has. We are going to make the maximum of our participation in this trade fair and will use this platform to promote our floating kitchen cabinets.”
